OPEN NOW: F4A Holiday Gift Guide
Browse hand-selected second-hand homewares with shipping to the U.K., E.U. or both
Shopping can be hard – and expensive, and tiring, and often for what? A few new pieces of tat that find their way into old piles of homewares and trinkets in an attic or under a bed by February.
This year, Furniture For All is offering an extensive list of second-hand furniture, homeware, decorations and other goods selected with the same care and love that you’ve come to expect from Furniture For All. All items added to the list can be shipped to you or your loved ones in the U.K., the E.U. or both.
I’ll be updating the gift guide as frequently as possible to ensure that there’s something for everyone on your list – and at your preferred price point, too.
How does the Furniture For All Holiday Gift Guide work?
I’ve searched high and low for giftable second-hand pieces that can be shipped directly to loved ones in the U.K., E.U. or both. These listings are now compiled in a Google Sheet to help choose a gift for your loved ones near and far (Or, for yourself! We don’t judge!)
Pieces are categorised by price: <£20, <£50 and £50+ before shipping and postage. Listings will be regularly updated to include new pieces and replace pieces that have been sold or delisted.
To access the F4A Gift Guide:
Send a donation via PayPal to the Berlin Soli Cooking project at berlinsolicooking@gmail.com (£5 /5€ suggested donation; no minimum)
Send a copy of your PayPal receipt to goodfurnitureforall@gmail.com
Check that the link that you receive in response to your receipt is active and accessible – I’ll be manually adding each email to the Google Sheet, so reach out if there are any issues and please be patient.
If you haven’t received access to the sheet in 24 hours, please feel free to follow up.
What does the F4A Holiday Gift Guide include?
To start, I’ve chosen over 60 products that ship to the U.K., the E.U. or both. These include space age kettles, teak serving trays, West German vases and so much more. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be hand-selecting products and pieces with the same care and attention that I dedicate to Furniture For All’s main feed.
Listings are organized by price point for your convenience: <£20, <£50 and £50+. Please note that prices do not include shipping and handling – be sure to confirm the total sum before placing your order.
How much should I donate?
I’m hoping to raise as much money for a cause I care about, so the sky’s the limit here – but around £5 or 5€ per person should be fine. I appreciate times are tough – there is no minimum donation required to access the F4A Holiday Gift Guide, and if you cannot make a donation in F4A’s name, reach out via email. We’ll sort something out.
I had my eye on a piece, but it’s already sold! What can I do now?
If any of the links contained within the F4A Holiday Gift Guide are down or inactive, please send an email to goodfurnitureforall@gmail.com and I’ll be sure to archive them. If you had your heart set on a particular piece, feel free to reach out as well – new pieces will be added daily to ensure an abundance of choice, and I’m happy to look into sourcing alternates if you have something special in mind.
My order hasn’t been shipped – what can I do?
Unfortunately, Furniture For All can take no responsibility for purchases, vendor behaviour or shipping times - please contact customer support for the relevant platform or retailer for further guidance.
How much money is Furniture For All making from this?
None! Donations should be sent to the Berlin Soli Cooking project directly – I have no interest in handling or taking your money. Similarly, Furniture For All is not partnering with any vendors or platforms, and will not receive commission on any sales.
Holiday shopping is a great time to rethink how we shop and for what we shop. The F4A Gift Guide is a way to cut the demand for new products by providing tasteful and affordable second-hand and vintage gifts. Many of these products have already lasted for decades on end – with a little TLC, they could last for many, many more.
What’s the Berlin Soli Cooking project? And what will my donations fund?
The Berlin Soli Cooking project is a self-organised group based in Berlin. Since 2020, Berlin Soli Cooking has regularly cooked and shared hot meals for those who need them about once a week. The group is run by a network of volunteers who cook, package and distribute meals on a weekly basis.
The money donated to Berlin Soli Cooking will be used to cover the cost of groceries and bottled water for those who need it, as well as supplies that include packaging and cutlery. In Berlin, FFP2 masks are still required under penalty of fine to access many important resources including medical facilities and public transportation. As such, the project also provides new masks free of charge to those who need them.
Donating directly to Berlin Soli Cooking will help provide the resources necessary to continue feeding local community members on a weekly basis. Should Berlin Soli Cooking close their donations, I will find an alternate organisation to which to donate.
As Furniture For All, I will not be handling, receiving or managing any donated funds. I just think it’s neat!
